I am syncing users from an external db. I am currently using the idnumber field to hold my unique user id from the external db. I am also using the External tool to link back to an assessment that is given and uses the same external db. I have 2 questions: Is there a way to have Moodle sync it's own user_id field with my primary key field on my users table? If not, is there a way to have the LTI launch somehow send the idnumber field so that my external assessment will know which user match with locally? Thanks for any help provided.
