Hello,
I am running Moodle 3.1 (Build: 20160523).
I have an External Tool that is storing student information based on their Moodle ID. I want Moodle to send the Student ID instead so we can have the data stored over multiple years (we create new Moodle instance every year) without causing conflicts with reused Moodle ID's. The provider of the External Tool is unable to make this change on their end.
I've seen some articles here that mentioned adjusting the /mod/lti/locallib.php file.
Can someone walk me through what setting up that custom parameter looks like?
