I would like to build a desktop app with LiveCode (formerly Runtime Revolution http://runrev.com) to provide a complex simulation for my learners. They'll download the application from within the Moodle course. Would the External Tool interface be the right way to let the learner upload their activity in the simulation back to Moodle for inclusion in the Gradebook? Or would I need to use an external website that could receive the scores and act as an LTI provider? That could be problematic for learners-- the more complicated the system is, the more prone to failure.
