I'd check the scopes being send by the platform, to the tool, in the launch JWT (id_token). These are the scopes available for the respective services and will live inside the service claims (e.g. the AGS claim).
It's possible you've configured the tool incorrectly in the platform (e.g. without AGS service support), and you're just not able to post scores (thus get that error when trying to get a token to post scores) - but that's just a guess of course. And of course, I've no experience with that tool library; the problem could be there too.
