Re: Limit published tools to specific platforms/consumers?

Thanks Jake. My understanding of the workaround is:

  1. The Moodle site (provider) is registered with the customer LMS (consumer).
  2. On our Moodle site:
    1. Create a course with the activity to be published.
    2. Publish the activity with Teacher first launch provisioning mode = "Existing accounts only (prompt)".
    3. Add a user in Moodle for the consumer site's teacher and enrol this on the course with role = teacher. Let's call this mteacher1.
  3. The teacher then logs into our Moodle site as mteacher1 in a browser tab so they can link their account in the next step.
  4. In a second tab they log into their LMS and attempt to select the published activity (which uses deep linking). The first time they do this they are prompted to link their LMS user to mteacher1.
  5. Once the user is linked they see the above activity only.
  6. The teacher enrols students onto course in their LMS. When these students access the activity they get automatically-created accounts on Moodle (assuming Student first launch provisioning mode = "New accounts only (automatic)"). They can only access the above activity.

Does that look correct?
