Hi,
this seems to be related to MOBILE-3724, specifically:
this seems to be related to MOBILE-3724, specifically:
In Moodle App 3.9.5 we changed the default behaviour of the app.
- For 3.11 or higher Moodle sites, by default the app will open the
LTI activity in the browser to make LTI 1.3 work. There'll be a setting
in Moodle (Site administration > Mobile
app > Mobile features > Disabled features > External tool >Launch via site in system browser) to change this default behaviour so LTIs are launched in
InAppBrowser as they used to
- To keep backwards compatibility, in Moodle sites older than 3.11 the LTIs will still be launched in InAppBrowser by default. However, there's a setting in Moodle 3.9 & 3.10 to disable this behaviour and force the app to open it in browser: Site administration > Mobile app > Mobile features > Disabled features > External tool > Open using embedded browser.
According to what you said, some users are experiencing this issue while others are not, so it might be possible that some users are using very old versions of the Moodle mobile app? You should ensure that:
* Users of the app are using recent versions of the Moodle app
* If your client's Moodle site is using Moodle LMS 3.11 onward, the setting "Site administration > Mobile
app > Mobile features > Disabled features > External tool >Launch via site in system browser" is NOT selected
* If your client's Moodle site is < 3.1, the setting "Site administration > Mobile
app > Mobile features > Disabled features > External tool > Open using embedded browser" is selected
