A LTI noob wants to distribute own, identical Moodle course contents to many schools. The content, mostly PDF, some audio files and some H5P activities, are already put together in to a Moodle course. So theoretically restoring a course backup in all the school Moodles would solve the problem. BTW, the idea of duplicating the course is to give the teachers in the respective schools autonomy in their courses.
Now the problem: The material will be constantly updated. How does one update the duplicates? LTI seems to be the answer. So the content can be kept in the original Moodle and exported through LTI to the satellites. Am I right?
Thinking of it, I see the trade-off between disk space (duplicates) against network traffic, every user in all the schools will be fetching those resources from a single (the central) Moodle. What is your experience?
