moodle itself as an external tool ...

Dear moodle-users,

I have one moodle installation with a SCORM-package installed, which needs quite a lot of memory. I call this the SCORM-moodle. There also is a grade-outcome from this SCORM.

On the other hand, I have many moodle-instances, and the registered users there shall be able to work with the SCORM-package. But I don't want them to install the SCORM on their own moodle-site (I call these HOME-moodles). After they finished their work, the achieved grade should be available in their HOME-moodle.

I am wondering, if this is possible with the use of an external activity?

In a way, that the user is registered in his/her HOME-moodle, klicks on a Link (coming from the external acitvity), signs in automatically at the SCORM-moodle, works here (maybe not even knowing he has changed the moodle-instance) and gets the grades pushed back to his HOME-moodle.

At the moment I can't figure out if this is possible - and especially how.

Thanks for any hint!
Thomas
